Inspired by a critique of some cheerful guy's Ghost AK-47, where I give him what I imagined was a fair critique, pointing out disadvantages and advantages. Guy proceeds to rage back, stating that my critique was "stupid" and "sucks balls." So, I made a weapon based on a gun feature he ended up not having.
My idea was that the plug-in battery pack (with a stock in back) would hold enough energy for a three-laser burst, with each laser so tightly focused that it would set infantry aflame and melt vehicle parts together, rendering said vehicles useless.
However, the battery boxes were roughly five pounds and three cubic feet each, making transportation of an amount necessary for siege highly unwieldly, so twin bayonets were added on the sides of the barrel as a back up for when the user runs out of battery packs.
